“We’re exploring the ability to reshare posts in Feed – similar to how you can reshare in Stories – so people can share what resonates with them, and so original creators are credited for their work. “ (Instagram spokesperson)
There are pros and cons to this. On the one hand it means that our followers could share our posts with their followers which will increase our reach. On the other hand it could mean that in addition to a lot more “suggested” content we are being shown by the algorithm we could see more content that the accounts we follow want to share – but it might not be what we are interested in.
