Online Digital marketing courses in Ireland using Zoom

Over the past month I have been delivering courses on behalf of Local Enterprise Offices using Zoom and I must say, it has been an eye opener for me. If you had asked me a month ago whether it would be easy to train a group of 15 – 20 people online I might have had some doubts. How easy would it be to demonstrate things on a phone or by using video? Would there be much interaction and opportunity to ask questions?

Within a few days of delivering courses online I no longer had any doubts. The technology is excellent and as a trainer it is very easy to present to participants and show them relevant websites, smartphone apps, power point slides and even videos. In addition, participants can easily ask questions during the course and there is usually great interaction and discussion. The feedback from some participants has been that they actually prefer an online course as it is more convenient – less time spent travelling and the technology makes it very easy to follow, all from the comfort of your home or office.

If you are not aware, your Local Enterprise Office is providing a wide range of online courses and most if not all of them are free.

The topics range from managing HR or Finance issues during the Coronavirus to marketing. If you would like to improve your digital marketing skills keep an eye out for courses I will be delivering for Local Enterprise Offices over the next 6 weeks which include …

• How to use Instagram for marketing
• How to advertise on Facebook and Instagram
• How to create your own marketing videos on a budget
• How to plan a new website
• A digital marketing plan for your business
• Social Media Marketing Bootcamp

I will be delivering them on behalf of Local Enterprise Offices in Longford, Offaly, Clare, Limerick, South Cork and Kerry. Simply visit their websites for details. While you are there you should also check out their new improved trading online voucher – essentially a grant of up to €2,500 for a new website if you want to start selling online.

Take care
